Accessibility statement
NSBE Space Coast is committed to a website that every visitor can read, navigate, and use, including members of our community who rely on assistive technology. This site is built toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
What this site provides
- A skip link to the main content, visible keyboard focus styles, and a logical heading order on every page.
- Color contrast that meets AA in every selectable theme, including a high contrast theme available from the theme control in the header.
- Touch targets of at least 44 pixels, and navigation that works by keyboard alone.
- Respect for reduced motion preferences: when your system asks for less motion, animation travel is removed and the hero video yields to a still photograph.
- Text alternatives on meaningful images, and decorative media marked so screen readers can pass over it.
Known limitations
Membership, renewal, and donation flows route to external platforms operated by NSBE National and its partners, and their accessibility rests with those platforms. We choose partners with published accessibility commitments wherever the choice is ours.
